Override Credentials allows you to specify other credentials than the one stored in an entry. You can choose from multiple sources according to your security practices and policies.
The Override credentials is available for all type of entries.
General
Simply check the Override credentials and select your credential to start overriding your credentials. To stop overriding credentials uncheck the Override credentials option.
The following choices are offered depending on the type of entry being overridden, as well as the location of that entry.

| Custom | Use a specific User name, Domain and Password. |
| Existing credential entry | Use an existing credential entry. |
| Embedded credential entry | Use an Embedded credential entry. |
| My personal credentials | Use the credentials stored in My Personal Credentials |
| User vault credential entry | Use a user vault credential entry. |
