# External password managers integration

Advanced workspaces integrate with external password managers so you can fetch credentials and link them to connections in Remote Desktop Manager Windows.

This is especially useful when managing large credential sets. You can create a single entry that allows access to retrieve the provider's full vault or link an entry to a specific credential for fine grained control. Remote Desktop Manager does not keep credentials in memory, improving security and reducing risk.
