Users may experience unexpected crashes in Remote Desktop Manager when running versions 2024.1 through 2024.3.
Before proceeding with advanced troubleshooting, ensure that all required dependencies are properly installed and that common corrective actions have been completed.
Confirm that the following components are installed and up to date:
.NET Runtime: install or update to the latest version, or repair the installation.
Microsoft Edge WebView2: ensure the latest version is installed.
Make sure you are running the latest available version of Remote Desktop Manager. Newer builds may include stability improvements and crash fixes not present in earlier releases.
Close Remote Desktop Manager.
Navigate to
%localappdata%\\Devolutions.Rename the
Remote Desktop Managerfolder toRemoteDesktopManager.old.Relaunch Remote Desktop Manager.
Reconnect to your data source.
In File – Settings, set Wait progress mode to Status bar.

Verify that the Wait-Loading Progress Bar is enabled for all web sessions.
Switch all RDP sessions to FreeRDP for testing purposes.
If Remote Desktop Manager continues to crash:
Provide details about the exact behavior of the crash.
Check Windows Event Viewer for relevant error logs.
