Removal of Devolutions Online Drive in Remote Desktop Manager

Devolutions Online Drive (DOD) was a data source type in Remote Desktop Manager. Its main purposes were to store and synchronize remote connections and credential data in Devolutions’ Cloud services.

Devolutions Online Drive data sources have been removed from Remote Desktop Manager in the 2025.2 release, as they rely on infrastructures and technologies no longer supported by Devolutions. The service itself will be terminated on September 1st, rendering any remaining Devolutions Online Drive data sources unusable.

The Devolutions Online Drive data file, Connection.dod, will eventually be removed for everyone, but it can be deleted manually in the Devolutions Portal for now.

Prevent data loss by migrating to Devolutions Hub Personal

If you currently use a Devolutions Online Drive data source to store data, it is recommended to migrate to Devolutions Hub Personal to avoid losing all the data it contains and to benefit from all the latest features.

Devolutions Hub Personal provides a secure vault for individual users to safeguard and manage their personal passwords. It also serves as a data source for Remote Desktop Manager and can be paired with the Workspace browser extension to safely inject credentials into websites.

If the master key cannot be found but access to the Devolutions Online Drive data source is available, follow the data migration tutorial to export the data then import it back.
