The General section contains basic information for the Devolutions Server instance such as its name, a description, and update information.
General
| Option | Description |

| Name | Enter the name of your server, which will be displayed in the content area. |
| Description | Enter a short description or additional information. |
Update
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Show new version indicator | When enabled, displays an overlay icon indicating that an update is available. |
| Release type | Select between the Current (Latest), Beta, and Stable versions. |
