The One-time password (OTP) section allows administrators to create and edit separate policies for OTP usage. One-time password policies can be set directly on folders and entries, or configured to be applied by default to all entries.

| Usage | Determine the behavior of the combination string, if any. |
| Combination string | Enter a combination string to be appended or prepended to either the password or username. |
| Key | The key used to generate the OTP. It can be entered manually or loaded by image. |
| Time step | Defines how long each OTP remains valid before rotating. |
| Code size | Determines the number of digits in each OTP. |
| Hash algorithm | Specifies the hashing algorithm used to calculate the OTP. |
| Recovery codes | Select a recovery code or create a new one if none exists. |
