Devolutions Gateway provides a secure bridge between our client applications and your internal networks/assets, enabling just-in-time remote connections without exposing infrastructure directly to the internet. When configured with Devolutions Hub Business, session entries such as RDP, SSH, or VNC use Devolutions Gateway so users can launch web-client sessions from the hub while enforcing role-based permissions and auditing.
Administrators register one or more gateways under the Administration – Devolutions Gateway section, validate certificates and health, then reference them in session and template settings. For example, instead of opening a VPN for every contractor, you can publish only Devolutions Gateway and let contractors launch their approved sessions from Devolutions Hub Business or Remote Desktop Manager, with all traffic brokered through the gateway.
