Set-RDMPrivilegedAccount

Synopsis

Set RDM privileged account.

Syntax

FromPrivilegedAccount

Set-RDMPrivilegedAccount [[-Session] <PSConnection>] [-ForcePromptAnswer <DialogResult[]>]
 [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Set RDM privileged account. Set Username/Password type directly or modify the result of Get-RDMPrivilegedAccount.To modify member starting with Safe, set the property without the Safe. On Windows, the policy DisableMyPrivilegedAccount prevent using this cmdlet.

Example 1

Set RDM privileged account of the type Username/Password.

Fetch the privileged account. Modify the Secret Server's domain, password and username value. Save the modificatons. The password modification can be seen in the value change of the field SafeSecretServerPassword.

-ForcePromptAnswer

Switch to use with caution. It will automatically answer prompt asking yes/no, yes/no/cancel, or ok/cancel questions. In case of multiple prompts, multiple values can be passed to this parameter. Here are the accepted values:

  • Yes: Accept the prompt. Cover the OK and Automatic value.

  • No: Refuse the yes/no/cancel prompt. Cancel is the fallback option if there is not an option No.

  • Cancel: Cancel the yes/no/cancel prompt. No is the fallback option if there is not an option Cancel.
