Go to FileSettings Entry Types to control settings applied to Session entries.

General

OPTION

DESCRIPTION

Display

Determinate the preferred display for the session. Select between:

  • Embedded (tabbed)

  • Undocked


You can then choose the preferred monitor to display on:

  • Primary monitor: This is the monitor that is marked as main display in Windows

  • Secondary monitor: The other non-primary monitor, osbolete, use Monitor 1, 2, 3 or 4 instead

  • Current monitor: The monitor that Remote Desktop Manager is running in

  • Configured: See Systems Options

  • Default: Will not move the application, it will be Windows default mode

  • Monitor 1: Monitor 1 is primary

  • Monitor 2: Monitor 2 is primary

  • Monitor 3: Monitor 3 is primary

  • Monitor 4: Monitor 4 is primary

  • Monitor 5: Monitor 5 is primary

  • Monitor 6: Monitor 6 is primary

  • Prompt on connection

Keep tab page opened on disconnect

Keep the tab of a session open even after it disconnects.

Connect using dashboard on double click

Specify whether a double-click action in the dashboard connects to the session.

Wake on LAN broadcast IP address

The broadcast IP address used for the Wake-on-LAN feature.

Batch open wait interval

Defines the time (in seconds) between opening multiple entries in a batch.

Color border thickness

Determines the thickness (in pixels) of the border color around entries.

Auto typing wait time

Sets the wait time (in seconds) before executing an auto-typing action.

Collapse Navigation Pane on open with Ctrl+Shift

When enabled, collapses the navigation pane when opening a session with the specified shortcut.

Collapse Navigation Pane on open embedded

Collapses the navigation pane when an embedded session is opened.

Minimize on open session (external)

Minimizes the application when an external session is opened.

Reconnect on double click

Automatically reconnects a disconnected session on double-click in the Navigation pane

OPTION DESCRIPTION
Opened entry action Determines the default action when an entry is opened.
Session entry action Specifies the default action for session entries.
Information entry action Sets the default behavior for information entries.
Contact entry action Configures the default action for contact entries.
Credential entry action Defines the default action for credential entries.
Document entry action Sets the action for document entries.
Folder entry action Specifies the action for folder entries.
Synchronizer entry action Defines the behavior for synchronizer entries.
VPN entry action Sets the default action for VPN entries.
Macro entry action Determines the action for macro entries.
Default close all action Specifies the default behavior for closing all sessions

Duplicate entry

OPTION DESCRIPTION
 Rename method Determines how the name of a duplicated entry is modified.
 Suffix The text appended to the name of a duplicated entry.

Session Type

OPTION DESCRIPTION
Default close all action Select the Default action for the Close all button when multiple tabs are open at the same time in the dashboard:
  • Disconnect (disconnect all opened tab connected session)
  • Log off (Log off all opened tab session)
  • Default (Close all opened tab sessions)

Credentials

OPTION DESCRIPTION
Global Availability Define the default setting of the Global Availability for the user vault

Search between:
  • Available
  • Unavailable

RDP

OPTION DESCRIPTION
Screen sizing mode You can choose a preferred screen sizing mode for your RDP session between:
  • Scrollbar
  • Smart reconnect
  • Smart sizing
  • Server resolution
  • None

Activate sandboxing The sandboxing isolate the RDP connection in another process. This is more stable and more reliable since it is an independent application embedded in RDP. This means that RDP can more easily recover from a a disconnection or a fatal error.
Use OpenGL If using OpenGL on your Mac activate this option to enhance your screen performance.
RDP Engine Select between:
  • Default
  • V2
  • V3
  • V4
Gateway Transport Select between:
  • Auto
  • Http
  • RPC
  • Others

    OPTION DESCRIPTION
    Screen display When using ARD session you will be prompt to know which screen display to use. By default it will take the primary screen.
