The API key entry store and manage service credentials that require an API ID and API key.
To convert a Username and password entry to an API key, right-click the entry and select Edit (special actions) – Convert to – Convert to API key.
| Field | Description |

| API ID | Identifier issued by the target service. Paste the exact value provided by the service. |
| API key | Enter the API key. Use the adjacent icons to reveal the password, generate a new key or view the password history. |
| URL | Base URL or endpoint used by the service. |
| Tenant ID | Identifier for multi-tenant services. |
| Type | Service type or provider. |
| Valid from | Start date when the key becomes valid. |
| Expires after | Select to enable and set the expiration date for the key. |
