Offline mode with Devolutions Server allows client applications to keep an encrypted local cache of selected entries when the server is unreachable. A Devolutions Server data source can be accessed offline through Remote Desktop Manager or the Workspace app.
Administrators control whether offline data is permitted and for which vaults, balancing productivity with data loss and confidentiality concerns. A common pattern is to allow limited offline access for support engineers who occasionally work without VPN, while keeping highly sensitive administrative vaults online only.
