# SMS

L'autenticazione a più fattori (MFA) tramite SMS richiede all'utente di inserire un codice ricevuto sul proprio telefono cellulare come secondo componente per accedere allo spazio di lavoro.

Per abilitare questo metodo MFA per i suoi utenti, vada in ***Administration – Server settings – Multifactor*** e selezioni l'opzione MFA ***SMS***. Accanto all'opzione comparirà un pulsante ***Configure***.

Sono disponibili due possibili configurazioni: la versione gratuita, che utilizza un operatore configurato nelle impostazioni email del suo server, e la versione configurata con Twilio.

### Versione gratuita

La versione gratuita utilizza un operatore configurato nelle impostazioni email del suo server. Non compili i campi delle impostazioni Twilio. Selezioni solo la casella ***SMS*** come descritto sopra, salvi le modifiche e [configuri le impostazioni email](/server/it/web-interface/administration/configuration/server-settings/general/email.md).

### Configurata con Twilio

Per configurare il metodo SMS con Twilio, deve disporre di un abbonamento Twilio. In ***Configure***, selezioni l'opzione ***Use Twilio instead of a carrier to send SMS***, quindi compili i campi con le informazioni del suo abbonamento Twilio.
