# Chiave SSH

Una chiave SSH è una coppia di chiavi crittografiche utilizzata per autenticarsi ai server SSH senza inviare una password riutilizzabile. La chiave privata rimane memorizzata in modo sicuro, mentre la chiave pubblica viene installata sui sistemi di destinazione affinché i client possano dimostrare la propria identità durante la connessione.

In Devolutions Server, le chiavi SSH sono memorizzate come voci di credenziali nelle casseforti e vengono utilizzate da strumenti come Remote Desktop Manager, Devolutions Launcher o il client web all'apertura delle sessioni SSH. La centralizzazione delle chiavi semplifica la rotazione, aiuta ad applicare le politiche di lunghezza e algoritmo delle chiavi e garantisce che i log di audit mostrino esattamente quale chiave e quale utente hanno effettuato l'accesso a un sistema.
