# Impostazioni di override

Le impostazioni di override in Devolutions Server le consentono di modificare i valori di configurazione per ambiti specifici senza alterare le impostazioni predefinite di sistema sottostanti. Può sovrascrivere opzioni come i timeout di connessione, le preferenze di visualizzazione o le richieste di sicurezza per una determinata cassaforte, cartella o voce quando i suoi requisiti differiscono dalla configurazione globale.

Questo approccio a livelli semplifica l'applicazione di criteri standard, pur consentendo eccezioni. Ad esempio, potrebbe imporre richieste di conferma rigorose e timeout più brevi per i server di produzione sovrascrivendo le impostazioni sulla loro cartella, senza compromettere gli ambienti di laboratorio meno critici.
