# Manutenzione (log, pulizia dei log, upgrade e aggiornamento)

La manutenzione in Devolutions Server comprende la gestione dei log, la pulizia dei dati storici e l'applicazione degli aggiornamenti software in modo controllato. I processi di conservazione e pulizia dei log mantengono reattivo il database preservando al contempo la traccia di audit richiesta dalle sue policy.

Esaminare regolarmente i report di manutenzione, eliminare le voci obsolete e seguire le procedure di upgrade documentate riduce i tempi di inattività e gli imprevisti durante i cambi di versione. Una best practice consiste nel pianificare backup e attività di pulizia, testare gli upgrade in un ambiente di staging collegato a una copia dei dati di produzione e documentare ogni modifica nelle casseforti del sistema stesso.
