# Ereditarietà

L'ereditarietà in Devolutions Server è il meccanismo tramite il quale voci e cartelle ricevono automaticamente sicurezza e impostazioni dai rispettivi elementi padre. Gli elementi ereditati tipici includono autorizzazioni, ruoli e determinate proprietà di connessione definite a livello di cassaforte o di cartella.

Progettando una struttura di cartelle chiara e applicando i diritti ai gruppi ai livelli superiori, gli amministratori riducono al minimo le configurazioni una tantum e riducono il rischio di accessi non allineati. Ad esempio, può concedere a un team di supporto l'accesso in sola lettura su una cartella cliente di primo livello e lasciare che tutte le voci figlie ereditino tale regola, pur potendo ignorare l'ereditarietà su una sottocartella sensibile quando sono necessari controlli più rigorosi.
