# Licencias

Las licencias en Devolutions Server controlan qué funciones están disponibles y cuántos usuarios pueden acceder a ellas en toda la implementación. A través de Administración - Licencias, los administradores registran seriales, los asignan automáticamente o por usuario, y gestionan tipos de licencia especiales, como la gestión de contraseñas de la plantilla, que se aplican a nivel de sistema en lugar de a personas concretas. Las licencias se adquieren y renuevan en Devolutions Portal y, a continuación, se sincronizan con Devolutions Server para su aplicación y para la generación de informes.

Un flujo de trabajo habitual consiste en añadir una nueva licencia después de una actualización, asignarla automáticamente a todos los usuarios activos y, después, utilizar los informes para confirmar el consumo antes de la siguiente renovación.
