# Devolutions Gateway con Devolutions Server

Devolutions Gateway con Devolutions Server proporciona acceso remoto justo a tiempo al retransmitir las sesiones aprobadas a los sistemas internos sin exponerlos directamente a Internet. Devolutions Server autoriza cada conexión, entrega un token a Devolutions Gateway y registra la sesión resultante, de modo que los administradores dispongan de un registro de auditoría completo de quién se ha conectado, cuándo y a qué. En comparación con las VPN tradicionales o RD Gateway, esta configuración ofrece un alcance más ajustado, un despliegue más sencillo y una mejor integración con la gestión de contraseñas y la retirada de cuentas privilegiadas.

En la práctica, un usuario hace clic en una entrada RDP en la interfaz web, Devolutions Server valida los permisos y Devolutions Gateway abre un túnel de corta duración únicamente para esa sesión.
