# Maintenance Tool database connection is invalid

Diese Fehlermeldung tritt auf, wenn Sie Änderungen in der Devolutions Server Console vornehmen möchten, aber nicht auf die Datei `encryption.config` zugreifen können:

### Lösung

1. Öffnen Sie die Eingabeaufforderung und geben Sie `whoamI` ein. Möglicherweise sind Sie einfach als Benutzer ohne Berechtigung zum Zugriff auf die Verschlüsselungsdatei verbunden.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die Berechtigung ***Lesen*** für die Datei `encryption.config` besitzen, die sich in `C:\inetpub\wwwroot\dvls\App_Data` befindet.
3. Sobald die richtige Berechtigung erteilt wurde, starten Sie die Devolutions Server Console neu.
