# SQL Server Express-Konfiguration

Um mit Devolutions Server eine Verbindung zu einer SQL-Datenbank herstellen zu können, finden Sie hier die empfohlene Konfiguration in Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition.

**Die meisten unserer Kunden verwenden die Serverauthentifizierung im gemischten Modus**. Laut Microsoft ist dies nicht die sicherste Authentifizierungsmethode für Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition, wir empfehlen jedoch, sie zum Konfigurieren und Testen Ihrer Devolutions Server-Instanz zu verwenden. Nach einer erfolgreichen Installation von Devolutions Server können Sie sie wieder auf den Modus ***Windows-Authentifizierung*** zurücksetzen und die Option ***Domain single sign-on (SSO)*** in der Registerkarte ***Database*** der Servereinstellungen von Devolutions Server festlegen. Um den gemischten Modus zu aktivieren, öffnen Sie im Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio das Eigenschaftsdialogfenster Ihres Servers und wechseln Sie zur Registerkarte ***Security***. Wählen Sie dann die Option SQL Server- und Windows-Authentifizierungsmodus aus.

Die nächste Option, die aktiviert werden muss, ist die Option ***Allow remote connections to this server***. Sie finden diese Option in der Registerkarte ***Connections*** des SQL Server-Dialogfensters ***Properties***. Klicken Sie anschließend auf die Schaltfläche ***OK***, um die Änderungen zu speichern.

Schließlich muss der Dienst SQL Server Browser auf dem Computer gestartet werden, auf dem der SQL Server gehostet wird. Führen Sie bitte servicesmsc aus und suchen Sie in der Liste nach SQL Server Browser.

Wir empfehlen, den Starttyp für den Dienst SQL Server Browser auf Automatisch zu setzen. Doppelklicken Sie auf den Dienst, um das Dialogfenster ***Properties*** zu öffnen. Starten Sie dann den Dienst, indem Sie auf die Schaltfläche ***Start*** klicken, und wählen Sie im Dropdown-Menü Starttyp die Option ***Automatic*** aus. Klicken Sie schließlich auf die Schaltfläche ***OK***.
