# SQL-Timeouts verhindern
Die Verwaltung vieler Einträge in einem einzigen Vorgang oder eine hohe Anzahl verbundener Benutzer kann zu SQL-Timeout-Fehlermeldungen mit Devolutions Server führen. Die folgende Änderung der erweiterten Datenbankparameter kann helfen, SQL-Timeouts zu verhindern.
1. Als erstes ist die ***Maximale Poolgröße für Verbindungen*** zu berücksichtigen. Eine Erhöhung dieses Parameters auf 1000 anstelle der Standardeinstellung 100 hilft, die Anzahl möglicher Datenbankverbindungen zu erhöhen.
2. Der zweite Parameter ist das ***Verbindungstimeout***, das auf 30 Sekunden erhöht werden kann. Dadurch wartet das System 30 Sekunden, bevor eine Ausnahme ausgelöst wird.
3. Der letzte ist die ***Anzahl der Verbindungswiederholungen***, da sie jede Verzögerung des ***Verbindungstimeouts*** wiederholt, bevor ein Fehler erzeugt wird. Wenn Sie sie auf 5 setzen, wartet die Devolutions Server-Instanz 150 Sekunden, bevor ein SQL-Timeout ausgelöst wird.
