# SSH-Schlüssel

Ein SSH-Schlüssel ist ein kryptografisches Schlüsselpaar, mit dem sich Benutzer bei SSH-Servern authentifizieren, ohne ein wiederverwendbares Passwort zu senden. Der private Schlüssel bleibt sicher gespeichert, während der öffentliche Schlüssel auf den Zielsystemen installiert wird, sodass Clients ihre Identität während der Verbindung nachweisen können.

In Devolutions Server werden SSH-Schlüssel als Anmeldeinformationseinträge in Tresoren gespeichert und von Tools wie Remote Desktop Manager, Devolutions Launcher oder dem Web-Client beim Öffnen von SSH-Sitzungen verwendet. Die Zentralisierung von Schlüsseln vereinfacht die Rotation, hilft bei der Durchsetzung von Richtlinien für Schlüssellänge und Algorithmus und stellt sicher, dass die Prüfprotokolle genau zeigen, welcher Schlüssel und welcher Benutzer auf ein System zugegriffen hat.
