# Wartung (Protokolle, Protokollbereinigung, Upgrade und Update)

Die Wartung in Devolutions Server umfasst die Verwaltung von Protokollen, die Bereinigung historischer Daten und die kontrollierte Anwendung von Softwareupdates. Aufgaben zur Protokollaufbewahrung und -bereinigung halten die Datenbank leistungsfähig und bewahren gleichzeitig das von Ihren Richtlinien erforderliche Prüfprotokoll.

Das regelmäßige Überprüfen von Wartungsberichten, das Entfernen veralteter Einträge und das Befolgen der dokumentierten Upgrade-Verfahren reduziert Ausfallzeiten und Überraschungen bei Versionswechseln. Als Best Practice sollten Sie Backups und Bereinigungsaufgaben planen, Upgrades in einer Staging-Umgebung testen, die mit einer Kopie der Produktionsdaten verbunden ist, und jede Änderung in den Tresoren des Systems selbst dokumentieren.
