# Ordner

Ordner organisieren Einträge innerhalb eines Tresors in Devolutions Server und bieten eine natürliche Grenze für die Delegierung von Berechtigungen und temporärem Zugriff. Sie ermöglichen es Ihnen, Ihre Organisationsstruktur abzubilden, zum Beispiel nach Umgebung, Geschäftseinheit oder Kunde, während die Navigation für Endbenutzer einfach bleibt. Sicherheit wird typischerweise auf Ordnerebene angewendet, wobei die auf Benutzergruppen basierende Sicherheit Rechte an untergeordnete Ordner und Einträge vererbt, jedoch bei Bedarf Überschreibungen zulässt.

Ein gängiges Muster ist ein Ordner der obersten Ebene pro Kunde, Unterordner für Infrastruktur und Passwörter sowie ein eingeschränkter Unterordner für privilegierte Konten.
