# Entry history

Entry history in Devolutions Server preserves previous versions of an entry so you can see who changed what and roll back safely. Each modification creates a new version with timestamp, author, and key field data, and from the Entry history section you can view, compare, export, or remove versions according to your rights. (docs.devolutions.net)

Entry history is especially useful when connection settings or documentation are overwritten: an administrator can compare versions side by side, then revert to a last known good state instead of rebuilding the entry from scratch.
