Ribbon / Menu bar

The ribbon and menu bar give you quick access to a wide range of features within Remote Desktop Manager, organized into tabs that group related actions together. The Home tab applies common actions to whichever entry is currently selected in the navigation pane, while Edit covers everything related to creating, modifying, and batch-editing entries, including shortcuts, playlists, and setting overrides.

File handles application and workspace-level operations such as going offline, locking the application, importing and exporting data, and configuring templates and settings. Once a session is open, the Actions tab becomes available with session-specific controls like reconnecting, screenshots, recording, and protocol commands, and View lets you toggle panels, layouts, and access features like search, quick connect, and the PAM dashboard.

For administrators, the Administration tab manages users, vaults, system settings, and security providers on advanced workspaces. Reports generates and exports usage and security reports such as activity logs and the security dashboard. Window controls the overall application layout, Tools provides utilities like generators and key managers, and Help offers troubleshooting tools, learning resources, and information about the product and its updates.
