Remote Desktop Manager requires the following prior to installation.

Minimum software requirements

The following packages must be installed prior to proceeding with the Remote Desktop Manager Windows installation:

• Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 10.0. See supported OS versions for more information.
• Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime

These installations are managed automatically by our installers. The only situations in which a manual installation of the prerequisite software should be performed are when the ZIP archive is used for deployment or when there is no Internet connection.

Remote Desktop Services and thin client support

Remote Desktop Manager can be installed on Remote Desktop Services and thin client.

Manual/Portable deployment

Deploying manually using our ZIP file is documented as being a portable deployment. In this case, the prerequisites will need to be handled manually as well. See the minimum software requirements above for details.
