# User connection mismatch

Fix the Connection failed due to mismatch of users error in Remote Desktop Manager by matching the workspace username to the logged-in user.

`Connection failed due to mismatch of users during the authentication process.`

### Solution

You will get the user mismatch message when you configure a user but connect with a different user. The ***Username*** specified in the workspace configuration and the user selected via the form must match.
