# Remote Desktop Manager virtual channels are not allowed in restrictive environments

### Virtual Channels

Virtual channels are communication pathways established between a client and a remote session to facilitate data transmission. Remote Desktop Manager uses three virtual channels for RDP sessions to jump and execute commands: ***RDMJump***, ***RDMCmd*** and ***RDMLog***.

These virtual channels can be restricted in environments where virtual channels are not allowed.

### Solution

Exceptions must be created in environments to whitelist Remote Desktop Manager virtual channels.
