# OpenVPN enters wrong credentials

OpenVPN entering credentials incorrectly in Remote Desktop Manager is fixed by enabling the Use authentication file option in the OpenVPN entry.

Note that for OpenVPN to work properly, you will at least need version 11.15.0.0 of the OpenVPN GUI.

Starting OpenVPN in Remote Desktop Manager causes that credentials are partially entered.

### Solution

Enable the feature ***Use authentication file*** in the OpenVpn entry.

1. Open OpenVPN's ***Properties***.
2. On the ***Advanced*** tab enable ***Use authentication file***.
