# VPN with offline mode

Configure a VPN entry in Remote Desktop Manager to automatically switch workspaces offline on connect and online on disconnect.

It is possible, when using a workspace that supports offline mode, to configure Remote Desktop Manager to activate the offline mode automatically upon launching a VPN connection from Remote Desktop Manager and to bring it back online at the VPN disconnection.

### Solution

In the ***Properties – Settings*** of your VPN entry. You will need to enable two options:

1. ***Go Offline on connection***.
2. ***Go Online on disconnect***.
