# Add web links in macro/script/tool sessions

Macros/scripts/tools sessions can be used to open web links in Remote Desktop Manager.

### Create the embedded web link

1. Create a shared web session [template](https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/commands/file/templates/creating-templates/).
2. Once the template is created, add a new ***Template*** entry in ***Macro/Script/Tool***.

3. Assign the new template to your newly created Macros/Scripts/Tools session using the ellipsis button.
4. Make sure to check the ***Keep template host*** option.

5. Click ***Add*** to save the entry.
