# Passare offline o online

Abiliti la [modalità offline](/rdm/it/getting-started/workspaces/offline-mode.md) utilizzando l'opzione ***File – Vai offline***. Utilizzi la modalità offline per connettersi a una copia locale dello spazio di lavoro quando il database remoto non è disponibile. Ciò è utile quando si lavora da una postazione remota e la rete non è raggiungibile o in caso di problemi di connettività di qualsiasi tipo.
