# Risoluzione dei problemi di prestazioni di SQL Server

Ogni volta che le prestazioni delle query su SQL Server diminuiscono, verifichi quanto segue:

### Dimensione dei file di database

Se il file di log delle transazioni è enorme, è possibile che il modello di ripristino del database sia impostato su FULL, il che significa che richiede backup regolari per ripulire le transazioni passate.

Può confermarlo nelle proprietà del database stesso.

Il passaggio più urgente è eseguire un backup completo del database.

Esegua la seguente istruzione sul database:

***exec sp\_spaceused***

### VPN

Se lavora tramite una VPN, il firewall potrebbe considerare questa connessione come un flood UDP e ritenere di essere sotto attacco, rallentando notevolmente tutto.

Come soluzione alternativa, può impostare la VPN in un'esclusione.
