# Configurare l'uso delle credenziali della sessione per avviare uno strumento

Per eseguire alcuni strumenti, è necessario inviare credenziali specifiche attraverso la sessione remota. Per impostazione predefinita, le credenziali utilizzate da uno strumento sono quelle della sessione di Windows. A volte con tali credenziali non si dispone di privilegi sufficienti per eseguire lo strumento. È per questo che occorre utilizzare invece le credenziali della sessione.

È possibile specificare l'utilizzo delle credenziali della sessione per una sessione in Strumenti di gestione – Credenziali – Usa le credenziali della sessione
