# Gérer la clé maîtresse

Utilisez ***Fichier*** – ***Gérer la clé maîtresse*** pour chiffrer votre espace de travail SQLite ou XML.

La clé maîtresse empêche les utilisateurs non autorisés d'accéder à l'espace de travail sans connaître la clé maîtresse. Il est fortement recommandé d'appliquer une clé maîtresse à l'espace de travail si vous utilisez Remote Desktop Manager dans un environnement portable (c.-à-d. clé USB, disque dur USB).
