# Installation du module d'extension KeePass sur un RDS

L'utilisation de Remote Desktop Manager et de KeePass sur un service Bureau à distance nécessite plusieurs étapes.

### Exigences

L'installation de Remote Desktop Manager suit [Terminal Services / services Bureau à distance](/rdm/fr/getting-started/installation/client/remote-desktop-services-terminal-services.md).

Assurez-vous que l'installation de KeePass a réussi et qu'elle ne se trouve pas sur un lecteur réseau.

### Module d'extension KeePass

1. [Téléchargez le module d'extension KeePass](https://keepass.info/download.html).
2. Décompressez les fichiers dans le dossier d'installation de KeePass (p. ex., `C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe 2`).
3. Le chemin d'installation de KeePass (`File – Settings – Clipboard – Paths – Configure installation path`) doit être configuré dans **default.cfg** mentionné dans [Terminal Services / services Bureau à distance](/rdm/fr/getting-started/installation/client/remote-desktop-services-terminal-services.md).
4. Pour modifier manuellement **default.cfg**, ajustez le chemin et ajoutez la ligne dans le contexte : `C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe 2`.

Chaque fois que Remote Desktop Manager est démarré et qu'il détecte un nouveau fichier default.cfg, une fenêtre de dialogue apparaît.

En sélectionnant Utiliser la nouvelle configuration, la configuration de l'utilisateur est simplement remplacée. Si vous souhaitez uniquement mettre à jour la clé de licence de Remote Desktop Manager après un renouvellement, choisissez ***Récupérer le nouvel enregistrement seulement***.
