# Configuración del sistema

***Configuración del sistema***, que se encuentra en ***Administración***, es el panel de configuración central para las políticas de todo el espacio de trabajo que se aplican a todos los usuarios. Está organizado en cuatro áreas. [Específico de la aplicación](/rdm/es/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/application.md) controla el comportamiento de la aplicación RDM, como la disponibilidad de funciones, la caché sin conexión, las opciones de seguridad y la aplicación obligatoria de versiones en todo el espacio de trabajo. [Común](/rdm/es/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/common.md) y [Gestión de contraseñas](/rdm/es/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/password-management.md) abarcan las políticas a nivel de espacio de trabajo para el comportamiento general y las reglas de validación de contraseñas, respectivamente. [Gestión de usuarios](/rdm/es/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/user-management.md) y [Gestión de bóvedas](/rdm/es/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/vault-management.md) se encargan del control de acceso: la primera rige la configuración específica de usuario y los permisos sin conexión, mientras que la segunda gestiona la visibilidad de las bóvedas, los permisos predeterminados y los conjuntos de permisos aplicados en todas las bóvedas.
