# Solución de problemas de rendimiento de SQL Server

Cuando el rendimiento de las consultas a SQL Server disminuya, compruebe lo siguiente:

### Tamaño de los ficheros de base de datos

Si su fichero de registro de transacciones es enorme, puede que el modelo de recuperación de la base de datos esté configurado como FULL, lo que significa que requiere copias de seguridad periódicas para limpiar las transacciones pasadas.

Puede confirmarlo en las propiedades de la propia base de datos.

El paso más urgente es realizar una copia de seguridad completa de la base de datos.

Ejecute la siguiente instrucción en la base de datos:

***exec sp\_spaceused***

### VPN

Si trabaja a través de una VPN, su cortafuegos podría ver esta conexión como una inundación UDP y pensar que está siendo atacado. Esto ralentiza todo considerablemente.

Como solución alternativa, puede añadir la VPN a una exclusión.
