# IOException - the process cannot access the file

IOException - The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users*User*\AppData\Local\Temp\RDM\record.mp4' because it is being used by another process.

### Solución

Este error se puede evitar añadiendo una variable al nombre de su grabación. De esta manera, Remote Desktop Manager no tendrá problemas al intentar sobrescribir una grabación ya existente. En general, recomendamos utilizar variables como `$DATE_TEXT$` o `$TIME_TEXT$` para identificar la grabación.

Por ejemplo, si cambió su ruta a:

*`C:\Users*User\AppData\Local\Temp\RDM\record-$DATE_TEXT$-$TIME-TEXT$.mp4`*

El nombre de su grabación tendría un aspecto similar a `record-2202020-100257.mp4`. Esto garantizará que cada grabación tenga un nombre único.
