# FIPS (cifrado)

`System.invalidoperationexception: this implementation is not part of the windows platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms.`

El problema podría estar relacionado con el modo FIPS activado.

Remote Desktop Manager utiliza los algoritmos de cifrado AES/Rijndael y de hash SHA-256, que están implementados por Microsoft .NET Framework. Si la directiva de seguridad local de su sistema exige implementaciones compatibles con FIPS, Remote Desktop Manager no puede ejecutarse. Como resultado, recibirá este mensaje de error.

### Solución 1

Para corregir este error, configure la Directiva de seguridad local de su sistema para permitir implementaciones de algoritmos no compatibles con FIPS.

Estos son los pasos:

1. Vaya a ***Panel de control – Herramientas administrativas – Directiva de seguridad local – Abrir Directivas locales – Opciones de seguridad***.
2. Desactive la opción ***Criptografía de sistema: usar algoritmos que cumplan FIPS para cifrado, firma y hash***.

Algunos programas (por ejemplo, Cisco VPN Anyconnect) requieren el uso de FIPS. Si es su caso, debe implementar la solución alternativa que se describe a continuación.

### Solución 2

Dentro de la carpeta de instalación de Remote Desktop Manager, cree un fichero de texto llamado **RemoteDesktopManager.exe.config** que contenga lo siguiente:
