# Aclaraciones e información sobre RDP

En Remote Desktop Manager, la última versión de RDP utiliza la última versión del ActiveX RDP de Microsoft presente en el sistema: siempre es **mstscax.dll**, pero la DLL contiene diferentes versiones de la interfaz ActiveX.

FreeRDP es el único cliente RDP que integramos en Remote Desktop Manager, pero solo se utiliza si cambia la versión de RDP a una de las opciones de FreeRDP disponibles. Todas las demás opciones utilizan el ActiveX RDP de Microsoft, que siempre es externo a Remote Desktop Manager

Nunca hemos integrado el cliente RDP de Microsoft en Remote Desktop Manager, principalmente porque no es posible redistribuirlo por separado. Todo lo que necesita para estar al día es actualizar Windows, ya que utilizamos la DLL presente en el sistema, sobre la que no tenemos ningún control.

En ambos casos, el cliente RDP de Microsoft es externo a Remote Desktop Manager. En condiciones normales, no se espera que se produzca el mecanismo de reserva: si solicita **mstscax.dll**, siempre utilizará **mstscax.dll**; la condición en la que falta **mstscax.dll** no se gestiona.
