# Host con plantillas

Una entrada ***Host Session*** le permitirá utilizar plantillas para conectarse al host. Le solicitará que elija qué plantilla utilizar para lanzar el host.

### Crear y lanzar una entrada Host Session con plantillas

1. Cree una o varias [Plantillas](/rdm/es/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/templates.md) mediante el menú ***File – Templates – Entry Templates***. Puede que necesite utilizar variables como `$HOST$` para el nombre del host, así como `$USERNAME$` y `$PASSWORD$` para el nombre de usuario y la contraseña respectivamente.
2. Vaya a ***Edit – New Entry – Add Session***.

3. Seleccione el tipo de entrada ***Host Session***. Debería estar ubicado en la sección ***Session***, en ***General***. Haga clic en ***OK*** para crear la nueva entrada.

4. En ***General***, vaya a la pestaña ***Advanced*** y haga clic en ***Select Templates***.

5. Seleccione la plantilla o plantillas que desea añadir a su sesión de host. Para seleccionar varias plantillas, mantenga pulsada la tecla <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> mientras realiza su selección.

6. Cuando haya completado su selección, haga clic en ***OK***. Las plantillas se añadirán entonces a su sesión de host.

7. Termine de configurar su entrada y, a continuación, haga clic en ***OK*** para guardar los cambios.
8. Lance su sesión de host. Se le solicitará que seleccione la plantilla adecuada para lanzar la sesión.

9. Haga clic en ***OK*** después de haber seleccionado la plantilla. Su sesión se lanzará utilizando la información proporcionada en la configuración de la plantilla.
