# Exportar e importar el fichero de configuración

La configuración de la aplicación se puede exportar para replicarla en otras instancias de Remote Desktop Manager.

Las configuraciones de espacios de trabajo que seleccione se exportarán con las credenciales tal y como están configuradas actualmente. Si está creando un fichero para configurar el equipo de un nuevo empleado, debe tener cuidado de no revelar sus credenciales. En este caso, se recomienda utilizar el [servicio de instalador personalizado](/rdm/es/getting-started/installation/client/custom-installer-service.md).

1. Vaya a ***Archivo – Configuración – Opciones de exportación***.
2. Valide la configuración y los espacios de trabajo que desee incluir y haga clic en ***Exportar***.
3. Guarde el fichero **RemoteDesktopManager.cfg** en su ordenador.
4. Para importar el fichero de configuración, vaya a ***Archivo – Configuración – Opciones de importación***.
5. Seleccione ***Importar desde un fichero diferente*** y seleccione el fichero **RemoteDesktopManager.cfg** exportado que ha creado.
6. Seleccione ***Usar el fichero de configuración seleccionado como el nuevo*** y haga clic en ***Aplicar***.
7. Reinicie Remote Desktop Manager.
