# Anwendung sperren

Die Schaltfläche ***Anwendung sperren*** bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, die Anwendung aus Sicherheitsgründen zu sperren, wenn Sie nicht vor Ihrem Computer sitzen.

Sie ist nur verfügbar, wenn ein Passwort zum Öffnen der Anwendung eingerichtet wurde. Sie können ein Anwendungspasswort unter [Datei – Einstellungen – Sicherheit](/rdm/de/ribbon-menu-bar/file/settings/security.md) einrichten.

Wenn ein Passwort eingerichtet wurde, können Sie auf die Schaltfläche ***Anwendung sperren*** klicken, um die Anwendung zu sperren.

Zum Entsperren oder Öffnen der Anwendung ist das Anwendungspasswort erforderlich.
