# Offline oder online gehen

Wechseln Sie Remote Desktop Manager zwischen Online- und Offline-Modus, um mit einer lokalen Kopie der Datenquelle weiterzuarbeiten, wenn die Datenbank nicht erreichbar ist.

Aktivieren Sie den [Offline-Modus](/rdm/de/getting-started/workspaces/offline-mode.md) über die Option ***Datei – Offline gehen***. Verwenden Sie den Offline-Modus, um sich mit einer lokalen Kopie der Datenquelle zu verbinden, wenn die entfernte Datenbank nicht verfügbar ist. Dies ist nützlich, wenn Sie von einem entfernten Standort aus arbeiten und das Netzwerk nicht erreichbar ist oder wenn irgendein Konnektivitätsproblem vorliegt.

Wenn die Schaltfläche ***Offline gehen*** nicht verfügbar ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Administrator.
