# Systemeinstellungen

***Systemeinstellungen***, zu finden unter ***Administration***, ist das zentrale Konfigurationspanel für datenquellenweite Richtlinien, die für alle Benutzer gelten. Es ist in vier Bereiche unterteilt. [Anwendungsspezifisch](/rdm/de/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/application.md) steuert das Verhalten der RDM-Anwendung, wie z. B. Funktionsverfügbarkeit, Offline-Cache, Sicherheitsoptionen und Versionsdurchsetzung in der gesamten Datenquelle. [Allgemein](/rdm/de/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/common.md) und [Passwortverwaltung](/rdm/de/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/password-management.md) umfassen Richtlinien auf Datenquellenebene für allgemeines Verhalten bzw. Passwortvalidierungsregeln. [Benutzerverwaltung](/rdm/de/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/user-management.md) und [Tresorverwaltung](/rdm/de/ribbon-menu-bar/administration/system-settings/vault-management.md) behandeln die Zugriffskontrolle: Erstere regelt benutzerspezifische Einstellungen und Offline-Berechtigungen, während Letztere die Tresorsichtbarkeit, Standardberechtigungen und tresorübergreifend angewendete Berechtigungssätze verwaltet.
