# Die Variable $PASSWORD$ kann nicht verwendet werden

Wenn die Variable `$PASSWORD$` als Teil eines ***Tippmakros*** verwendet wird, ruft sie möglicherweise das Passwort nicht ab und sendet stattdessen die Variable unverändert. Dies ist eine Sicherheitsfunktion, die standardmäßig aktiviert ist, aber deaktiviert werden kann.

### Lösung

Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, um Passwörter in Variablen zu verwenden:

1. Klicken Sie in Remote Desktop Manager mit der rechten Maustaste auf Ihren Eintrag und wählen Sie ***Eigenschaften***.
2. Navigieren Sie im linken Menü zu ***Sicherheit – Sicherheitseinstellungen***.
3. Aktivieren Sie im Abschnitt ***Passwort*** das Kontrollkästchen ***Passwort in Variable erlauben***.

Wenn Sie außerdem die Anmeldeinformationsmodi <em><strong>Verknüpft (Tresor)</strong></em> oder <em><strong>Verknüpft (externer Tresor)</strong></em> für Ihren Eintrag verwenden, müssen Sie die Option <em><strong>Passwort in Variable erlauben</strong></em> auch im verknüpften Anmeldeinformationseintrag aktivieren.</p></div>

4. Klicken Sie auf ***OK***, um Ihre Änderungen zu speichern.

Sie können nun die Variable `$PASSWORD$` in Ihren Makros verwenden.

Hinsichtlich der Berechtigungen müssen zur Verwendung der Variable `$PASSWORD$` die Berechtigungen ***Anzeigen***, ***Verbinden (ausführen)*** und ***Passwort anzeigen*** erteilt werden. Bei Verwendung eines privilegierten Kontos (PAM in Devolutions Server) muss zudem der Berechtigungssatz ***Operator*** (oder höher) im PAM-Tresor erteilt werden.
