# Fehlerbehebung bei der Installation der Microsoft Edge WebView2-Runtime

Bei der Installation der Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime für Remote Desktop Manager erhalten Sie möglicherweise die folgende Fehlermeldung:

**Installation failed. The Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is already installed for the system.**

### Lösung

Erzwingen Sie die Neuinstallation des Programms, indem Sie einen Registrierungsschlüssel löschen:

1. Öffnen Sie den Windows-Registrierungseditor. Drücken Sie dazu die Tasten <kbd>Windows</kbd>+<kbd>R</kbd>, um das Windows-Dialogfeld ***Ausführen*** zu öffnen.
2. Geben Sie im Dialogfeld "regedit" in das Feld ein und klicken Sie dann auf ***OK*** (oder drücken Sie <kbd>Enter</kbd>).
3. Kopieren Sie den folgenden Pfad: **`HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Clients\{F3017226-FE2A-4295-8BDF-00C3A9A7E4C5}`**
4. Drücken Sie im Registrierungseditor die Tasten <kbd>Alt</kbd>+<kbd>D</kbd> und fügen Sie den vorher kopierten Pfad ein. Drücken Sie <kbd>Enter</kbd>.
5. Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf den Schlüssel ***{F3017226-FE2A-4295-8BDF-00C3A9A7E4C5}*** und wählen Sie ***Exportieren***.
6. Speichern Sie die Datei des Registrierungsschlüssels an einem Ort, den Sie sich merken können, zum Beispiel in **C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeWebView2**.
7. Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf den Schlüssel im Registrierungseditor und wählen Sie ***Löschen***.
8. Installieren Sie die neueste Bootstrapper-Version.
