# FIPS (Verschlüsselung)

`System.invalidoperationexception: this implementation is not part of the windows platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms.`

Das Problem könnte mit dem aktivierten FIPS-Modus zusammenhängen.

Remote Desktop Manager verwendet die Verschlüsselungsalgorithmen AES/Rijndael und den Hash-Algorithmus SHA-256, die vom Microsoft .NET Framework implementiert werden. Wenn die lokale Sicherheitsrichtlinie auf Ihrem System FIPS-konforme Implementierungen erzwingt, kann Remote Desktop Manager nicht ausgeführt werden. Daher erhalten Sie diese Fehlermeldung.

### Lösung 1

Um diesen Fehler zu beheben, konfigurieren Sie die lokale Sicherheitsrichtlinie auf Ihrem System so, dass nicht FIPS-konforme Algorithmus-Implementierungen zugelassen werden.

Hier sind die Schritte:

1. Gehen Sie zu ***Systemsteuerung – Verwaltung – Lokale Sicherheitsrichtlinie – Lokale Richtlinien öffnen – Sicherheitsoptionen***.
2. Deaktivieren Sie die Option ***Systemkryptografie: FIPS-konformen Algorithmus für Verschlüsselung, Hashing und Signatur verwenden***.

Manche Software (z. B. Cisco VPN Anyconnect) erfordert die Verwendung von FIPS. Wenn dies bei Ihnen der Fall ist, müssen Sie die unten beschriebene alternative Lösung umsetzen.

### Lösung 2

Erstellen Sie im Installationsordner von Remote Desktop Manager eine Textdatei mit dem Namen **RemoteDesktopManager.exe.config** mit folgendem Inhalt:
